Step by Steps Instructions for Deco XE200 Setup

The setup for Deco XE200 mesh system can be done/completed by using the Deco app or interface. Here, you will get to know how to do TP-Link Deco XE200 setup, login (via app or computer), initiate update, change network password and dispel technical problems.

Deco XE200 Setup

The connection with Deco XE200 of your home cable modem is pretty simple. You can simply download the Deco app and start the setup from it but here, you will able to understand it quickly.

First, place your Deco device near to the modem and connect them to the power outlet/socket.
Then, use the Ethernet cable and connect it to the modem’s LAN port, and Deco port.
Find the Deco power button and press it to turn it on.

You have to download the Deco app in your device.

Via Computer/Laptop

There is another way to adjust the settings as well which is through your laptop/computer.
Connect the computer or laptop to the Deco network via SSID name and open the web browser.
Here, you have to type the tplinkdeco.net URL in address bar and search by hitting Enter button.
The Deco login page will appear which will demand for admin credentials, simply check the user manual or label to find.
Enter the username and password and log in to the interface.

Now, you can complete the Deco XE200 setup by configuring its settings and networks. You should also learn how to change the Deco XE200 WiFi password and update its firmware.

Change Deco XE200 Password

Open the Deco app in your phone and login.
Go in to the Menu> Wireless> Networks.
Here, enter the new password in the Password field.
Now, save it by tapping the SAVE button.

Update Deco XE200

Access the Deco app interface in your phone.
Tap on the Menu option and go in to the Update tab.
Here simply tap on the Update button and it will start upgrade.

Find the power button and press it twice.
