How to Set Up a TP Link Deco Mesh WiFi?

As mentioned earlier, you will need the TP-Link Deco app for the Deco TP Link setup, so install it. For your information, the setup process is only possible with the help of the app. However, network settings can be managed at http://tplinkdeco.net.

After download the TP Link Deco app on your smartphone or tablet, you should launch it and follow the steps given below to complete the installation:

  • The app will first of all prompt you to log in using the TP-Link ID.
  • In case, you do not have an ID, you should tap Sign Up.

  • Once done, power down your modem.
  • Using an Ethernet cable, you should connect your Deco to the modem now.
  • You should use the LAN port of your modem. However, any Ethernet port on the Deco system will work.
